The challenge

With new players entering the benefits market and new regulatory requirements from the Worker Food Program (PAT), the client, one of the country's leading payment services companies, needed to adapt its systems to support new benefit modalities. The central challenge was allowing workers to migrate value between different types of benefits, such as food and meal, without compromising the stability of the legacy mainframe operation. To do so, the company partnered with BRQ.

What we did

BRQ mobilized a team of mainframe specialists and developers who worked closely with the client's team to update the systems and support the new PAT. The project included adapting the mainframe systems and integrating them with the ecosystem's other platforms, ensuring flexibility for end customers without disrupting the existing operation.

The solution was well received by the market, and there are plans for future expansion.
