We migrated RD Saúde’s statistical model execution to AWS, automating manual processes and enabling greater scalability and efficiency for the data science team.

The data science team previously operated in on-premises environments. While the machines were powerful, there were scalability limitations and challenges in sharing tools and deliverables across teams.
In addition, model execution was manual and relied on local scheduling, increasing operational effort.
Cloud architecture built in collaboration with RD
The implementation followed an architecture designed by RD, in collaboration with the infrastructure team, to organize the data science environment and enable the desired scalability.
With the migration to AWS and the use of Docker, models began running in an automated and centralized way. Outputs were delivered to S3 buckets, making information access and sharing much easier.
