23 years of expertise
In the early 90s, with the opening the Brazilian economy, the drop in inflation, and globalization, companies undertook deep changes to improve their competitiveness by launching new products and services in which the strategic use of technology played a critical role.
BRQ was born in this environment, in 1993, in the city of São Paulo, with the combination of founder Benjamin Quadros’ entrepreneurial spirit and the support of a large Brazilian bank, which trusted BRQ to become one of its partners and to build its new systems that would provide innovative products and services.
The partnership grew and so did BRQ. We expanded our services into application outsourcing, started to work with new clients, and became the primary application developer for our first partner.
From 1996 to 2005, we established ourselves in São Paulo’s market and opened new office branches in Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro. BRQ created solutions and developed services to support medium-sized and large enterprises to face the challenge of the year 2000. As the Internet became popular, once again we positioned ourselves as partners of our clients to build cutting-edge services that would transform the market. BRQ reached 100 million reais in sales.
In 2006, BRQ established the goal to become a world-class company by advancing a key feature of our success: dynamic, flexible, and stable relationships that lead to an ever-growing understanding of our clients’ businesses.
Two years later, BNDES became a committed partner to our vision and growth. BRQ opened branch offices in Salvador, Recife, Brasília, Natal, and New York and made several acquisitions. In 2012, we expand our offer of IT services to include consultancy and outsourcing of business processes, based on main business features, quality of delivery, and sound relationships.
